RECORDING
Semaphore Recording offers a high quality studio and their in-house staff
for a fraction of the price of other studios in Chicago. It is an analog studio
located in Chicago's near-north Ukranian Village neighborhood. The control
room is furnished with a Neotek IIIc (36 Channel) console and tons of vintage
outboard gear and microphones. Semaphore was founded in 2001 when Jeremy Lemos,
Elliot Dicks & Scott Adamson discovered that there was not a low priced
studio in Chicago that was professional. Stay analog!
COLOSSAL MASTERING
A fully isolated 4,000 cu. ft. mastering suite is the focal point of Colossal
Mastering's facility, located in Chicago's Bucktown/Wicker Park neighborhood.
This state-of-the-art, acoustically tuned room is designed to professionally
emulate a comfortable living room atmosphere. And it does - Every detail has
been handled with care to create the best possible listening environment.
